Any Slow-release fertilizer (such as this) breaks down gradually in the soil, depending on how much you water each plant, to provide a longer acting effect. The more you water, the faster it breaks down. Because of this gradual process, it may take a couple weeks (or longer) to see noticeable positive effects. As with ANY other fertilizer, ‘less is more’ – please do not over fertilize your plants. Over fertilizing will kill your plants. We regularly use this product for years in our vegetable & fruit garden, flower bed and for our lawn grass roughly 4 times a year. We are very satisfied with the results. Just remember DO NOT OVER FERTILIZE, “you can always add more later, but you can’t take it away!” Happy Gardening!Fertilizer application instructions:* Spread the granules around the plant/tree or in the lawn. Avoid fertilizer touching the tree trunk.* Water immediately after applying the fertilizer. Water is essential to activate the fertilizer.* Apply 1 table for a small plant. Based on the size of the plant, you can increase the quantity of fertilizer.* Apply when the weather is dry, may be in the late evening. * And water them right away.
