Osmocote Plus 15-9-12 8-9 Month Lo-Start Fertilizer is a controlled release fertilizer that contains 100% resin-coated homogenous fertilizer cores containing the major nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorous, and potash) in addition to the secondary nutrients sulfur and magnesium and sulfur, as well as the minor nutrients copper, boron, iron, molybdenum, manganese, and zinc. It features a patented nutrient release technology which allows the release of nutrients at a lower rate early in the 8-9 month release period, and at a higher rate later on. It is recommended to apply this product towards the end of the growing season, such as when planting nursery stock or perennials late in the season to be overwintered, as the lower initial release rate helps to maintain salt levels at lower levels during rooting and storage.
