It contains non-staining iron and now features enhanced Biotone microbes. The product effectively provides a slow release of nitrogen for extended feeding. It is a non-burning and easy to apply lawn food that is also safe to use around kids and pets. Espoma Lawn Food is used on perennial ryegrass, cool season grasses, bluegrass, fine and tall fescue, bentgrass or warm season grasses including Bermudagrass, St. Augustine grass, centipede grass and zoysiagrass. Application Rate: Established Lawns: Feed at a rate of 3.3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. New Lawns/Over-seeding: Feed at a rate of 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Seed can be sown on the same day of application. Sodding: Apply to the finished grade soil prior to installation at a rate of 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. How To Use: Apply to a dry lawn that has recently been mowed.
